18 Feb Golden Montagu pecan and date fudge




Ingredients
- 1 tin condensed milk
- 450 ml castor sugar
- 225 grams Butter
- 5 ml vanilla extract
- 100 grams Montagu whole pecan nuts, chopped
- 100 grams Montagu pitted sayer dates, chopped
- Some gold glitter for garnish
Instructions
- Place the condensed milk, castor sugar and butter in a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave on high for approx. 15 minutes stirring every 3 minutes. It should be a golden caramel colour.
- Quickly add the vanilla, pecans and dates and mix through.
- Pour into a prepared baking tin of your choice and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the fudge into squares and cool completely.
- Dust with golden glitter before serving.
