Ingredients
- 500 g packet of SASKO Flapjack Mix
- 550 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 30 ml sunflower oil
- 10 ml sunflower oil for frying
- 200 g streaky bacon
- 250 g blueberries fresh or frozen
- strawberries to serve
- cherries to serve
- Maple Syrup to serve
Instructions
- Whisk together the milk, eggs and the oil add the SASKO Flapjack Mix mix through and let the batter rest for 5 minutes
- Heat up a greased frying pan and pour spoonfuls of batter into the pan, drop the 5 to 8 blueberries into the batter and as soon as bubbles start breaking the surface turn the flapjacks over and bake on the other side until golden brown and cooked through
- Place the streaky bacon onto a greased oven tray and bake in the hot oven until crispy and brown
- Serve the flapjacks with the bacon, maple flavoured syrup and garnish with lots of fresh berries and lots of love for dad
