Some of you who have had the chance to come and eat at my Station street kitchen, will know that my house is my pride and joy. Every wall, every corner and every nook is decorated with something, from Russian art to art deco furniture to white umbrellas. After every semester I change the house according to new trends, funky paint colours or just because I found a new piece of furniture or ornament and it needs to go somewhere beautiful.

I am always very humbled when a magazine or publication phones and asks if they can come and photograph my house for an article or profile. Every time this happens it gives me time to fix things up, chop and change and to buy the odd piece or two.
